Where do we get our prices?
In 2019, the Trump Administration passed legislation to
require hospitals to share price lists of their items and services.
This represented a fundamental step towards healthcare transparency in the United States.
This information is often difficult for individual consumers to find.
We aggregate and present pricing information in a user-friendly format.
What About Insurance?
We list cash prices for uninsured patients. This is the maximum you will pay. If you have insurance, your costs may be lower.
Coverage
It has been well documented that hospital charges are notoriously difficult for the average consumer to find. Despite our best efforts, some hospitals are not included. We currently cover hospitals in NJ.
